Active Mobility (Registration of
Registrable Personal Mobility Devices)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 67 of the Active Mobility Act 2017, the Land Transport Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Active Mobility (Registration of Registrable Personal Mobility Devices) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 6 August 2019.

Amendment of regulation 5

2. Regulation 5 of the Active Mobility (Registration of Registrable Personal Mobility Devices) Regulations 2019 (G.N. No. S 13/2019) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended —

(a)	by deleting paragraph (2);
(b)	by deleting the semi‑colon at the end of paragraph (3)(c) and substituting a full‑stop; and
(c)	by deleting sub‑paragraph (d) of paragraph (3).

Amendment of regulation 7

3. Regulation 7 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “, when sold (whether or not to the applicant), was” in paragraph (a) and substituting the word “is”.

Amendment of regulation 21

4. Regulation 21(1) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “where the registration is pursuant to an application mentioned in regulation 5(2), details of the valid receipt mentioned in regulation 5(3)(d)” in sub‑paragraph (g) and substituting the words “where provided in accordance with these Regulations, the valid receipt”.
