Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food
Establishments and Tourist Public Houses)
(Amendment) Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, Mr S Iswaran, Second Minister for Trade and Industry, charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Minister for Trade and Industry relating to tourism, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment) Notification 2014 and shall come into operation on 22 August 2014.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification 2014 (G.N. No. S 327/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Lofi Inn” in item (110) and substituting the words “Phil Inn”; and

(b)

by inserting, immediately after item (213), the following items:

“(214) Adonis Hotel

(215) Hotel Clover 33 Jalan Sultan

(216) One Farrer Hotel & Spa

(217) Parc Sovereign Hotel — Tyrwhitt

(218) Sofitel So Singapore”.
