Delegation of Powers
(Ministry of Finance) (Amendment)
Notification 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36(1) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Finance, with the approval of the President, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (Amendment) Notification 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2012.

Amendment of Schedule

2. Part II of the Schedule to the Delegation of Powers (Ministry of Finance) (No. 2) Notification 2005 (G.N. No. S 536/2005) is amended —

(a)

by deleting items 1, 2, 3 and 5 under the heading “(B) Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports”;

(b)

by deleting the words “Community Development, Youth and Sports” in the heading “(B) Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports” and substituting the words “Social and Family Development”; and

(c)

by deleting the heading “(I) Ministry of Information, Communications and the Arts” and items 1 and 2 thereunder and substituting the following heading and items:

“

(I) Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth

1.	President, Syariah Court

2.	Registrar of Co‑operative Societies

$10,000

3.	Registrar of Mutual Benefit Organisations

$10,000

4.	Registrar of Muslim Marriages

$10,000

”.
