(Exemption) (No. 57)
Notification 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 57) Notification 2014.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “RWS Promotion Games (Revised 1) — RWS Wheel of Winners” promotion to be held from 1 September 2014 to 5 October 2014 (both dates inclusive) (called the relevant period); and
(b)	the draws to be held at the Maxims Club (Level B1M) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. as part of that promotion at 4 p.m. and 9 p.m. on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday during the relevant period, except on 21 September 2014 and 28 September 2014.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
