Responsibility for Portfolio of Minister for Social and Family Development

It is hereby notified for general information that, pursuant to Article 30(1) of the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore, the Prime Minister has directed that Mr Gan Kim Yong shall, with effect from 1st November 2012, be charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Minister for Social and Family Development in so far as such responsibility relates to —

(a)	the Elderly; and
(b)	Policy and Services on Active Ageing and Intermediate and Long Term Social Care.

Citation

2. This Notification may be cited as the Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Social and Family Development) Notification 2012.

Cancellation

3. The Constitution of the Republic of Singapore (Responsibility for the Portfolio of the Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sports) (No. 3) Notification 2011 (G.N. No. S 315/2011) is cancelled.
