Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Compulsory Inspection) (Amendment) Rules 2003

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 91 (2) and 140 of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Compulsory Inspection) (Amendment) Rules 2003 and shall come into operation on 3rd December 2003.

Amendment of rule 2

2. Rule 2 of the Road Traffic (Motor Vehicles, Compulsory Inspection) Rules (R 26) is amended by deleting the words “except motor cars, motor cycles and scooters which are less than 3 years old”.
