(Exemption) (No. 59)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 59) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Magical Festive Rewards” promotion to be held from 7 November 2016 to 25 December 2016 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws (collectively called “Twelve Draws of Christmas”) to be held as part of that promotion:

(i)	the “Celebration Draws” conducted at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday from 19 November 2016 to 18 December 2016 (both dates inclusive);
(ii)	the “Spin a Dream Draw” conducted at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands in 3 sessions hourly from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. on 24 December 2016 and 25 December 2016.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
