Restriction of Speed (Roads) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 63(2) of the Road Traffic Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Restriction of Speed (Roads) (Amendment No. 3) Notification 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2005.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. The Second Schedule to the Restriction of Speed (Roads) Notification (N 6) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Alexandra Road”, the following items:

“Aljunied Road — that part of Aljunied Road between MacPherson Road and Geylang East Central.

Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.”;

(b)

by deleting the item relating to “Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5” and substituting the following item:

“Ang Mo Kio Avenue 5.”;

(c)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6”, the following items:

“Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8.

Bartley Road — that part of Bartley Road between Jalan Labu Ayer and Serangoon Avenue 1.”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Bedok North Road”, the following item:

“Bedok Reservoir Road — that part of Bedok Reservoir Road between Kaki Bukit Avenue 1 and Bedok North Road.”;

(e)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Bendemeer Road”, the following items:

“Bishan Road.

Boundary Road.

Buangkok Drive — that part of Buangkok Drive between Buangkok Green and Punggol Road.

Buangkok Green.”;

(f)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Holland Road”, the following items:

“Hougang Avenue 2.

Hougang Avenue 3 — that part of Hougang Avenue 3 between Upper Serangoon Road and Lorong Ah Soo.”;

(g)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Jalan Buroh”, the following item:

“Kaki Bukit Avenue 1.”;

(h)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Lim Chu Kang Road”, the following item:

“Lorong Chuan — that part of Lorong Chuan between Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1 and Boundary Road.”;

(i)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Pasir Ris Drive 12”, the following item:

“Punggol Central — that part of Punggol Central between Punggol East and Punggol Way.”;

(j)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Punggol East”, the following items:

“Punggol Road — that part of Punggol Road between Punggol Drive and Buangkok Drive.

Punggol Way — that part of Punggol Way between Sengkang East Road and Nibong Light Rapid Transit Station.”;

(k)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Sembawang Way”, the following items:

“Sengkang East Road.

Sengkang East Way — that part of Sengkang East Way between Sengkang East Drive and Anchorvale Road.”;

(l)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Serangoon Road”, the following item:

“Tampines Road — that part of Tampines Road between Upper Serangoon Road and Hougang Avenue 7.”;

(m)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Thomson Road”, the following item:

“Ubi Avenue 2.”;

(n)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Upper Changi Road East”, the following item:

“Upper Paya Lebar Road — that part of Upper Paya Lebar Road between Upper Serangoon Road and Bartley Road.”;

(o)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Woodlands Road”, the following item:

“Yio Chu Kang Link.”; and

(p)

by deleting the item relating to “Yio Chu Kang Road” and substituting the following item:

“Yio Chu Kang Road — that part of Yio Chu Kang Road between the Central Expressway Flyover and Yio Chu Kang Link.”.

Amendment of Third Schedule

3. The Third Schedule to the Restriction of Speed (Roads) Notification is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Ang Mo Kio Avenue 1”, the following item:

“Bartley Road — that part of Bartley Road between Braddell Road and Jalan Labu Ayer.”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Braddell Road”, the following item:

“Buangkok Drive — that part of Buangkok Drive between Punggol Road and Upper Serangoon Road.”; and

(c)

by inserting, immediately below the item relating to “Gambas Avenue”, the following item:

“Hougang Avenue 3 — that part of Hougang Avenue 3 between Lorong Ah Soo and Defu Avenue 1.”.
