Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by the definitions of “tourist hotel”, “tourist food establishment” and “tourist public house” in section 2 of the Singapore Tourism (Cess Collection) Act, Mr S Iswaran, Second Minister for Trade and Industry, charged with the responsibility for the portfolio of the Minister for Trade and Industry relating to tourism, hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation and commencement

1. This Notification may be cited as the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) (Amendment No. 2) Notification 2013 and shall come into operation on 6th September 2013.

Amendment of Schedule

2. The Schedule to the Singapore Tourism (Tourist Hotels, Tourist Food Establishments and Tourist Public Houses) Notification (N 1) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the words “Albert Court Village Hotel” in item (1) and substituting the words “Village Hotel Albert Court”;

(b)

by deleting item (6) relating to Berjaya Hotel Singapore;

(c)

by deleting the words “Landmark Village Hotel” in item (26) and substituting the words “Village Hotel Bugis”;

(d)

by deleting the words “Changi Village Hotel” in item (40) and substituting the words “Village Hotel Changi”;

(e)

by deleting the words “Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort, Singapore” in item (79) and substituting the words “Shangri‑La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa, Singapore”;

(f)

by deleting the words “Best Western Jayleen 1918” in item (181) and substituting the words “Jayleen 1918 Hotel”;

(g)

by deleting the words “East Village Hotel” in item (210) and substituting the words “Village Hotel Katong”; and

(h)

by inserting, immediately after item (225), the following items:

(228) Ramada Singapore at Zhongshan Park.

(229) Big Hotel.

(230) Lofi Inn @ Hamilton.
