Planning (Exemption under Section 53)
Notification 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 53 of the Planning Act, the Minister for National Development makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Planning (Exemption under Section 53) Notification 2016 and comes into operation on 4 November 2016.
Exemption
2.  The Minister exempts Lot 02587A PT of MK 6 at 36 Jurong West Street 24 from section 37(3) of the Act and rule 14 of the Planning (Development Charges) Rules (R 5) with regard to the development of the said land which is the subject of the application for written permission submitted by the Titular Roman Catholic Archbishop of Singapore to the competent authority on 28 July 2016.
