(Exemption) (No. 7)
Notification 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 7) Notification 2016.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Ang Bao Bonanza” promotion to be held from 12 February 2016 to 15 February 2016 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “Instant Win” games to be held as part of that promotion at the Maxims Club (Level B1M) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. during the following periods:

(i)	from 9 p.m. on 12 February 2016 to 1 a.m. on 13 February 2016;
(ii)	from 9 p.m. to 12 midnight on 13 February 2016 and 14 February 2016, respectively; and

(c)

the “Lucky Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Maxims Club (Level B1M) of Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. during the following periods:

(i)	12.08 a.m. and 1.08 a.m. on 13 February 2016;
(ii)	12.08 a.m. on 14 February 2016 and 15 February 2016, respectively.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Resorts World at Sentosa Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
