(Revocation) Regulations 2020

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 411 of the Companies Act, the Minister for Finance makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Companies (Prescribed Arrangements) (Revocation) Regulations 2020 and come into operation on 30 July 2020.

Revocation

2. The Companies (Prescribed Arrangements) Regulations 2017 (G.N. No. S 246/2017) are revoked.

Saving and transitional provision

3. Despite regulation 2, the Companies (Prescribed Arrangements) Regulations 2017 as in force immediately before 30 July 2020 continue to apply to or in relation to the following:

(a)	an application made before that date for an order under section 211B of the Act;
(b)	an application for an order under section 211C of the Act arising from an order under section 211B of the Act made pursuant to an application made before that date;
(c)	an application made before that date for a judicial management order under section 227B(1) of the Act;
(d)	an application under section 227B(1) of the Act made by a foreign representative appointed in a foreign proceeding arising from an application made before that date for recognition of the foreign proceeding under Article 15(1) of the Tenth Schedule to the Act.
