Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 40) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Tampines Changkat Community Club Youth Executive Committee and Tampines Changkat Community Club Women’s Executive Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organisers”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Tampines Changkat Mahjong Competition” promotion to be held from 13th September 2013 to 13th October 2013 (both dates inclusive) and the mahjong games to be held on 13th October 2013 from 1 p.m. to 5.30 p.m. at the multi-purpose hall of Tampines Changkat Community Club.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organisers with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
