| Building Control (Accredited Checkers and Accredited Checking Organisations) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 |

| Citation and commencement |
| 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Building Control (Accredited Checkers and Accredited Checking Organisations) (Amendment) Regulations 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2012. |
| Amendment of regulation 7 |
2. Regulation 7(1) of the Building Control (Accredited Checkers and Accredited Checking Organisations) Regulations (Rg 2) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is amended —

| Amendment of regulation 7A |
| 3. Regulation 7A of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” wherever they appear in paragraphs (1), (1A) and (2) and substituting in each case the words “geotechnical building works”. |
| Amendment of regulation 8 |
| 4. Regulation 8(2) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” and substituting the words “geotechnical building works”. |
| Amendment of regulation 9 |
| 5. Regulation 9(2) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” wherever they appear and substituting in each case the words “geotechnical building works”. |
| Amendment of regulation 10 |
| 6. Regulation 10(2) of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” and substituting the words “geotechnical building works”. |
| Amendment of First Schedule |
| 7. Form B of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” wherever they appear in paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 and substituting in each case the words “geotechnical building works”. |
| Amendment of Second Schedule |
| 8. The Second Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” and substituting the words “geotechnical building works”. |
| Amendment of Third Schedule |
| 9. The Third Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the words “underground building works” wherever they appear and substituting in each case the words “geotechnical building works”. |
