Order 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46(2) of the Interpretation Act, the Minister for Transport hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Interpretation (Temporary Suspension of Electronic Road Pricing System Charges) Order 2014.

Temporary suspension of charges

2.—(1) For the period 17 September 2014 to 19 September 2014 (both dates inclusive), the road-user charges payable under the First Schedule to the Road Traffic (Electronic Road Pricing System) Rules 2011 (G.N. No. S 97/2011) (referred to as the principal Rules) in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part 1 of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified opposite in the second column.

(2) For the period 17 September 2014 to 20 September 2014 (both dates inclusive), the road‑user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part 2 of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified opposite in the second column.

(3) On 18 September 2014 and 19 September 2014, the road‑user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part 3 of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified opposite in the second column.

(4) For the period 18 September 2014 to 20 September 2014 (both dates inclusive), the road‑user charges payable under the First Schedule to the principal Rules in respect of any motor vehicle ridden, driven or moved into a specified entry point on a specified road set out in Part 4 of the Schedule shall be wholly remitted during the restricted hours as specified opposite in the second column.
