Casino Control (Amendment) Act 2012
(Internal Controls — Saving and
Transitional Provisions)
Regulations 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 118(4) of the Casino Control (Amendment) Act 2012, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Casino Control (Amendment) Act 2012 (Internal Controls — Saving and Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2013 and shall come into operation on 31st January 2013.
Saving and transitional provisions
2.  A casino operator may continue to implement any system of internal controls and administrative and accounting procedures approved by the Authority under section 138 of the Casino Control Act (Cap. 33A) in force immediately before 31st January 2013, until —
(a)such of the casino operator’s system of internal controls as may be required to be submitted for approval by the Authority has been approved by the Authority under the Casino Control (Internal Controls) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 59/2013); or
(b)the expiry of 6 months after that date,
whichever occurs first, and all such internal controls and administrative and accounting procedures so approved immediately before that date shall be deemed to be approved internal controls under the Casino Control (Internal Controls) Regulations 2013 until then.
