Notification 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Active Agers’ Mind Game (Mahjong) 2019 — Exemption) Notification 2019.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Geylang West Community Club Women’s Executive Committee (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Active Agers’ Mind Game (Mahjong) 2019” promotion to be held from 1 September 2019 to 20 September 2019 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the mahjong games to be held at room #03-01 of Geylang West Community Club from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on 29 September 2019.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
