Merchant Shipping Act
(Chapter 179)
Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2002
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 100 of the Merchant Shipping Act, the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2002 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2003.
Amendment of Regulation 14 of Chapter VII
2.  Regulation 14 of Chapter VII of the Merchant Shipping (Safety Convention) Regulations (Rg 11) is amended by deleting the words “schedule 10, 11, 12 or 13” in the definition of “INF cargo” and substituting the words “transport schedule 10, 11, 12, 13 or 14”.
