Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 17) Order 1998

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 13(9) of the Income Tax Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Order:

Citation

1. This Order may be cited as the Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) (Amendment No. 17) Order 1998.

Amendment of Consolidation Order

2. The Income Tax (Approved Banks) (Consolidation) Order (O 32) is amended —

(a)	by deleting item (44) relating to Mitsui Trust And Banking Company Limited, with effect from 30th November 1998;
(b)	by deleting the words “Instituto Bancario San Paolo di Torino S.p.A.” in item (122) and substituting the words “Istituto Bancario San Paolo di Torino — Istituto Mobiliare Italiano Societa per Azioni”, with effect from 1st November 1998; and
(c)	by deleting the words “Kredietbank (Singapore)” in item (172) (a) and substituting the words “KBC Bank (Singapore) Limited”, with effect from 24th August 1998.
