(Exemption) (No. 46)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 46) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts the following committees (referred to in this Notification as “the organisers”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Tampines West Mahjong Contest” to be held on 29th September 2013 from 8.30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the multi‑purpose hall of Tampines West Community Club:

(a)	Tampines West Community Club Active Ageing Committee;
(b)	Tampines West Community Club Senior Citizens’ Executive Committee;
(c)	Tampines Polyview Residents’ Committee;
(d)	Tampines Terrace Residents’ Committee;
(e)	Tampines Grove Residents’ Committee.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organisers with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
