Casino Control
(Approved Games — Marina Bay Sands)
(Amendment No. 2) Order 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 100(1) of the Casino Control Act, the Casino Regulatory Authority of Singapore hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement

1. This Order may be cited as the Casino Control (Approved Games — Marina Bay Sands) (Amendment No. 2) Order 2012 and shall come into operation on 19th December 2012.

Amendment of paragraph 2

2. Paragraph 2 of the Casino Control (Approved Games — Marina Bay Sands) Order 2011 (G.N. No. S 592/2011) (referred to in this Order as the principal Order) is amended by deleting the word “The” and substituting the words “Subject to paragraph 2A, the”.

New paragraph 2A

3. The principal Order is amended by inserting, immediately after paragraph 2, the following paragraph:

“Approved tournament games

2A. A game specified in Part II of the Schedule may be played in the casino operated by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. only during a tournament based on the playing of that game.”.

Amendment of Schedule

4. The Schedule to the principal Order is amended —

(a)

by deleting the Schedule reference and substituting the following Schedule reference:

“Paragraphs 2 and 2A”;

(b)

by inserting, immediately above item 1, the following Part heading:

“Part I

(c)

by inserting, immediately after item 1, the following item:

“1A. 7 Up Baccarat Progressive (MBS)”;

(d)

by inserting, immediately after the word “(MBS)” in items 5, 12, 13 and 14, the words “(Version 2)”; and

(e)

by inserting, immediately after item 19, the following Part:

“Part II

1. Baccarat Tournament (MBS).”.
