(Amendment) Rules 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 25, 34 and 140 of the Road Traffic Act 1961, the Minister for Transport makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules are the Road Traffic (International Circulation) (Amendment) Rules 2023 and come into operation on 12 September 2023.

Amendment of rule 22C

2. In the Road Traffic (International Circulation) Rules (R 7), in rule 22C —

(a)

in paragraph (2), replace sub‑paragraph (b) with —

“(b)

issue to the applicant —

(i)	the vehicle entry card; and
(ii)	a physical print‑out or an electronic copy of the permit.”; and

(b)

in paragraph (3), replace “cause to be issued to the applicant a print‑out setting out the period of validity and other conditions of the permit and such other information as the Registrar may determine” with “issue to the applicant a physical print‑out or an electronic copy of the permit”.
