The Singapore Arms in the centre with the year-date “2003” below it and the word “SINGAPORE” in the 4 official languages around the circumference of the coin. The position of the mintmark is at 5 o’ clock for all the coins except for the $10 cupronickel and $1 gold coins.
Stylized version of a goat design is to the centre. The coin design is based on the paper-cut-style. The 2 characters signifying the “Year of Goat” are above the goat design. The denomination of the coin in figures is below the design. The troy weight and fineness of the coin are at the lower circumference for all the coins except for the $10 cupro-nickel coin.
