Insurance (Approved Marine, Aviation
and Transit Insurers) (Amendment)
Regulations 2016

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 52(1A) and 64 of the Insurance Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Insurance (Approved Marine, Aviation and Transit Insurers) (Amendment) Regulations 2016 and come into operation on 20 December 2016.

Amendment of First Schedule

2. The First Schedule to the Insurance (Approved Marine, Aviation and Transit Insurers) Regulations (Rg 15) is amended by inserting, immediately after item 1, the following item:

“2.

A member state of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations —

(a)	that has deposited its instrument of ratification or acceptance of the Protocol to Implement the Seventh Package of Commitments on Financial Services under the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Framework Agreement on Services; and
(b)	that is listed on the official website of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations at http://asean.org as having ratified or accepted the Protocol mentioned in paragraph (a).”.
