Registration of Births and Deaths
(Amendment) Rules 2012

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Registration of Births and Deaths (Amendment) Rules 2012 and shall come into operation on 14th February 2012.

Amendment of Second Schedule

2. Item 1 of the Second Schedule to the Registration of Births and Deaths Rules (R 1) is amended —

(a)	by deleting the words “Form O” in paragraph (a) and substituting the words “Form L”; and
(b)	by deleting the words “Form Q” in paragraph (b) and substituting the words “Form M”.
