Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 78(1) and (2) of the Banking Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2015 and come into operation on 1 November 2015.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Banking (Credit Card and Charge Card) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 729/2013) is amended by deleting the definition of “medical treatment” and substituting the following definition:

“ “medical treatment” means any “approved medical treatment or services” as defined in section 2(1) of the MediShield Life Scheme Act 2015 (Act 4 of 2015) but excludes any treatment, service or item referred to in regulation 12(2)(a) of the MediShield Life Scheme Regulations 2015 (G.N. No. S 622/2015);”.
