AIA Agency Share Purchase Plan)
(Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 337(1) of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments) (Exemption for AIA Agency Share Purchase Plan) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 8 October 2018.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3(2) of the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments) (Exemption for AIA Agency Share Purchase Plan) Regulations 2012 (G.N. No. S 602/2012) is amended by deleting the words “dealing in securities” in sub‑paragraph (b)(i), (ii) and (iii) and substituting in each case the words “dealing in capital markets products that are securities or securities‑based derivatives contracts”.
