(Appointment of Authorities to Administer
Free Trade Zones) (Amendment)
Notification 2011
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3(2) of the Free Trade Zones Act, the Minister for Finance hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Notification may be cited as the Free Trade Zones (Appointment of Authorities to Administer Free Trade Zones) (Amendment) Notification 2011 and shall, with the exception of paragraph 2(b), come into operation on 1st December 2011.
(2)  Paragraph 2(b) shall be deemed to have come into operation on 20th November 2009.
Amendment of paragraph 2
2.  Paragraph 2 of the Free Trade Zones (Appointment of Authorities to Administer Free Trade Zones) Notification (N 4) is amended —
(a)by deleting sub-paragraphs (a) and (b) of sub-paragraph (1) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:
“(a)the Tanjong Pagar Terminal and Keppel Terminal — Free Trade Zone;
(b)the Sembawang Wharves — Free Trade Zone;”;
(b)by deleting sub-paragraph (c) of sub-paragraph (1);
(c)by deleting sub-paragraphs (d) to (g) of sub-paragraph (1) and substituting the following sub-paragraphs:
“(c)the Brani Terminal — Free Trade Zone;
(d)the Keppel Distripark — Free Trade Zone;
(e)the Keppel Distripark Linkbridge — Free Trade Zone;
(f)the Pasir Panjang Terminal — Free Trade Zone.”; and
(d)by deleting the words “Port of Singapore (Jurong Port) — Free Trade Zone” in sub-paragraph (2) and substituting the words “Jurong Port (including Pulau Damar Laut) — Free Trade Zone”.
