(Exemption) (No. 48)
Notification 2013
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:
Citation
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 48) Notification 2013.
Exemption
2.—(1)  The Minister hereby exempts Tiong Bahru Community Centre Women’s Executive Committee (referred to in this Notification as “the organiser”) from the provisions of the Act in respect of the “Tiong Bahru Community Centre Women’s Executive Committee Mahjong Competition” promotion to be held from 6th October 2013 to 24th November 2013 (both dates inclusive) and the mahjong games to be held on 24th November 2013 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the multi‑purpose hall of Tiong Bahru Community Centre.
(2)  The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
