(Amendment of First and Second Schedules)
Order 2023
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 84 of the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.—(1)  This Order is the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992 (Amendment of First and Second Schedules) Order 2023 and, except for paragraph 3(c), comes into operation on 25 September 2023.
(2)  Paragraph 3(c) is deemed to have come into operation on 31 December 2021.
Amendment of First Schedule
2.  In the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, in the First Schedule, after Part 4, insert —
“Part 5 — Offence included as drug dealing offence
with effect from 25 September 2023

Amendment of Second Schedule
3.  In the Corruption, Drug Trafficking and Other Serious Crimes (Confiscation of Benefits) Act 1992, in the Second Schedule —
(a)in Part 3, in item 248, in the first column, after “Section 27A(5)”, insert “(as in force before 28 April 2023)”;
(b)in Part 13, in item 393, in the first column, after “Section 27A(5)”, insert “(as in force before 28 April 2023)”;
(c)in Part 23, in the first column, delete “(Act 22 of 2021)”; and
(d)after Part 26, insert —
“Part 27 — Offences included as serious offences
with effect from 25 September 2023
