Town Council of Pasir Ris-punggol
(Conservancy and Service Charges)
(Amendment) By-laws 2003
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24(1) of the Town Councils Act, the Town Council for the Town of Pasir Ris-Punggol hereby makes the following By-laws:
Citation and commencement
1.  These By-laws may be cited as the Town Council of Pasir Ris‑Punggol (Conservancy and Service Charges) (Amendment) By‑laws 2003 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2004.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Town Council of Pasir Ris-Punggol (Conservancy and Service Charges) By-laws 2002 (G.N. No. S 361/2002) is amended by deleting items 10 to 13 and substituting the following items:
 
“10.
Shop with living accommodation
$1.575 per square metre of the area of the shop subject to a minimum of $52.50 in addition to the reduced rate of conservancy and service charges for the equivalent room type specified in items 1 to 9.
 
11.
Premises for use as —
 
 
(a)child care centre or family service centre approved by the Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS), PAP community foundation education centre or kindergarten
12.075 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.
 
 
(b)Neighbourhood Police Post or Singapore Civil Defence Post
78.75 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.
 
 
(c)Resident Committee Centre
No charge.
 
12.
Premises used for the purposes of a charity as defined in section 2 of the Charities Act (Cap. 37)
12.075 cents per square metre of the area of the premises.
 
13.
Other commercial property
$1.575 per square metre of the area of the premises subject to a minimum of $52.50.”.
