Legitimacy (Re-registration of
Births of Legitimated Persons)
(Amendment) Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 1 of the Schedule to the Legitimacy Act, the Registrar‑General of Births and Deaths hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Legitimacy (Re‑registration of Births of Legitimated Persons) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 October 2014.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2(1) of the Legitimacy (Re‑registration of Births of Legitimated Persons) Regulations (Rg 1) is amended by deleting the words “High Court” in sub‑paragraph (c) and substituting the word “court”.
