Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Licensing of Importers, Wholesalers and Retailers) (Amendment) Regulations 2004
In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 18 and 37(1) of the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) Act, the Minister for Health hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Licensing of Importers, Wholesalers and Retailers) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2004.
Deletion of regulation 10
2.  Regulation 10 of the Smoking (Control of Advertisements and Sale of Tobacco) (Licensing of Importers, Wholesalers and Retailers) Regulations 2003 (G.N. No. S 282/2003) (referred to in these Regulations as the principal Regulations) is deleted.
Amendment of regulation 12
3.  Regulation 12 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting paragraph (2) and substituting the following paragraph:
(2)  Where a licence is cancelled under paragraph (1), the Chief Executive may, if he considers appropriate, refund any part of the fee paid under these Regulations in respect of the licence.”.
Amendment of regulation 17
4.  Regulation 17 of the principal Regulations is amended by deleting “10,”.
