(Exemption) (No. 52)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 52) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Queenstown Active Ageing Committee (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Social Mahjong Friendly Competition 2017” promotion to be held from 20 November 2017 to 3 December 2017 (both dates inclusive); and
(b)	the mahjong games to be held at the multi‑purpose hall of Queenstown Community Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on 3 December 2017.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
