(119 — Air Operator Certification)
(Amendment) Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Air Navigation Act 1966, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, with the approval of the Minister for Transport, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Air Navigation (119 — Air Operator Certification) (Amendment) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 15 August 2022.
Amendment of regulation 9
2.  In regulation 9(2)(a) of the Air Navigation (119 — Air Operator Certification) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 443/2018) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations), after “regulation 31(1)”, insert “or (4)”.
Amendment of regulation 31
3.  In regulation 31 of the principal Regulations, after paragraph (3), insert —
(4)  Despite paragraphs (1), (2) and (3), if an AOC holder notifies the Authority of any change or intended change to —
(a)the AOC holder’s name (including a business or trading name);
(b)the AOC holder’s address; or
(c)the AOC holder’s telephone or fax number, email or any other contact detail,
the Authority may vary the AOC holder’s air operator certificate according to the notification.”.
Amendment of Third Schedule
4.  In the Third Schedule to the principal Regulations, replace paragraph 1 with —
1.  The safety management system (called in this paragraph the SMS) required under regulation 16 must comprise the following components and elements:
