(Exemption) (No. 53)
Notification 2013

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs hereby makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification may be cited as the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 53) Notification 2013.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister hereby exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Candy 3 Giveaway” promotion to be held from 4th November 2013 to 1st December 2013 (both dates inclusive); and

(b)

the following draws to be held as part of the “Candy 3 Giveaway” promotion at the Main Casino Floor (B2M) at Marina Bay Sands:

(i)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily between 22nd November 2013 and 24th November 2013 (both dates inclusive); and
(ii)	5 sessions hourly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. daily between 29th November 2013 and 1st December 2013 (both dates inclusive).

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
