(Amendment) Regulations 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by sections 247(3) and 337(1) of the Securities and Futures Act, the Monetary Authority of Singapore makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments) (Shares) (Exemption from Prospectus Requirements) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and come into operation on 8 October 2018.

Amendment of regulation 3

2. Regulation 3(1) of the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments) (Shares) (Exemption from Prospectus Requirements) Regulations 2008 (G.N. No. S 56/2008) is amended by deleting sub‑paragraph (b) and substituting the following sub‑paragraph:

“(b)	regulations 4, 5, 12 and 14 of the Securities and Futures (Offers of Investments) (Securities and Securities‑based Derivatives Contracts) Regulations 2018 (G.N. No. S 664/2018).”.
