(Exemption) (No. 55)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 55) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “New Year Lucky Draw” promotion to be held from 1 December 2017 to 1 January 2018 (both dates inclusive);
(b)	the “88 Special Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 12.30 a.m. on 1 January 2018; and
(c)	the “Finale Draws” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) at Marina Bay Sands at 1.30 a.m. and 2.30 a.m. on 1 January 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
