Private Education
(Composition of Offences)
Regulations 2022
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Private Education Act 2009, the SkillsFuture Singapore Agency, with the approval of the Minister for Education, makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.  These Regulations are the Private Education (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2022 and come into operation on 1 September 2022.
Compoundable offences
2.  The following offences (other than a continuing offence) may be compounded in accordance with section 40(1) of the Act:
(a)any offence under section 14(3) of the Act in connection with any failure to comply with section 14(1)(a), (c), (d), (e) or (f) or (2) of the Act;
(b)any offence under section 17(3) of the Act;
(c)any offence under section 35(4) of the Act.
Revocation
3.  The Private Education (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2016 (G.N. No. S 489/2016) are revoked.
