In exercise of the powers conferred by section 1 of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2012, Mr Tan Chuan-Jin, Senior Minister of State, charged with the responsibility of the Minister for Manpower, hereby makes the following Notification:

1. This Notification may be cited as the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2012 (Commencement) (No. 2) Notification 2012.

2. Sections 2(b) and (d), 4, 7(a) to (d), (g) to (n) and (p) to (x), 13 to 16, 18 to 23, 25, 26, 27(a), (d) and (e), 28 to 32 and 42(a), (b), (e) and (g) to (m) of the Central Provident Fund (Amendment) Act 2012 shall come into operation on 1st January 2013.
