Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act
(Amendment of Second Schedule)
Notification 2015
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 47 of the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act, the Minister for Law makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification may be cited as the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act (Amendment of Second Schedule) Notification 2015 and comes into operation on 12 November 2015.
Amendment of Second Schedule
2.  The Second Schedule to the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Act is amended —
(a)by inserting, immediately after the word “threats” in the second column of item 115, the words “in relation to ships or safe navigation”;
(b)by deleting the word “offences” in the second column of item 117 and substituting the words “acts in relation to ships or safe navigation”; and
(c)by inserting, immediately after item 117, the following items:

Section 7(4)
Abetment of an offence under section 3, 4, 5 or 6
117B.
Section 7(5)
Attempt to commit an offence under section 3, 4, 5 or 6
117C.
Section 7A
Hijacking of fixed platforms
117D.
Section 7B
Destroying or damaging fixed platforms, etc.

Section 7C
Offences involving threats in relation to fixed platforms
117F.
Section 7D(1)
Act of violence done in connection with an offence under section 7A or 7B

Abetment of certain acts in relation to fixed platforms
