Public Utilities
(Composition of Offences) (Amendment)
Regulations 2015

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(2) of the Public Utilities Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Utilities (Composition of Offences) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and shall come into operation on 13 February 2015.

Amendment of regulation 2

2. Regulation 2 of the Public Utilities (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2014 (G.N. No. S 825/2014) is amended —

(a)

by deleting paragraphs (a) and (b) and substituting the following paragraphs:

“(a)	any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 9(2), 19(2), 33(2)(a), 34(2), 37(1), 40(4), 45(7), 46(3), 47(1) or (6), 47A(1)(a), 50(1), 51, 55(3)(a) or 57(1) of the Act;
(b)	any offence under regulation 38(1) or 41(1) or (2) of the Public Utilities (Reservoirs, Catchment Areas and Waterway) Regulations 2006 (G.N. No. S 401/2006);”; and

(b)

by deleting the full-stop at the end of paragraph (c) and substituting a semi‑colon, and by inserting immediately thereafter the following paragraph:

“(d)

any offence for which a person is liable by virtue of section 56A of the Act in relation to the following:

(i)	any offence (other than a continuing offence) under section 9(2), 40(4), 46(3), 47(1), 47A(1)(a), 50(1), 51 or 55(3)(a) of the Act;
(ii)	any offence (other than a continuing offence) under regulation 4(4), 6(3), 7(3), 12(1), (3) or (4), 15(4), 26(2), 36(5), 39(3), 40(4) or 40A(7) of the Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulations.”.
