(Exemption) (No. 56)
Notification 2017

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 56) Notification 2017.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts the society registered under the Societies Act (Cap. 311) known as Women’s International Tennis (Singapore) (UEN T17SS0028B) (called in this Notification the organiser) from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)	the “Autumn End of Season Awards Event 2017” (called in this Notification the event) to be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on 6 December 2017 at Pan Pacific Hotel, 7 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square, Singapore 039595; and
(b)	the draw for the lottery to be held at 9 p.m. on 6 December 2017 at the venue of the event.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by the organiser with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
