Public Utilities
(Water Supply) (Amendment)
Regulations 2014

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 72 of the Public Utilities Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for the Environment and Water Resources, hereby makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Public Utilities (Water Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and shall come into operation on 1 November 2014.

Amendment of Third Schedule

2. The Third Schedule to the Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulations (Rg 5) is amended —

(a)

by deleting the Schedule reference and substituting the following Schedule reference:

“Regulations 19, 24(2), 36(15) and 38(5)”;

(b)

by deleting “$20” in item 1(3) and substituting “$21.40”;

(c)

by deleting “$15” in item 1(5) and substituting “$17.655”;

(d)

by deleting “$0.50” in item 1(7) and substituting “$0.535”; and

(e)

by deleting item 2 and substituting the following item:

“2. The fees for item 1(3), (5) and (7) are inclusive of the goods and services tax chargeable under the Goods and Services Tax Act (Cap. 117A) on the supply of goods or services in respect of which the fees are payable.”.
