(Registration and Practising Certificates)
(Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 75 of the Allied Health Professions Act, the Allied Health Professions Council, with the approval of the Minister for Health, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Allied Health Professions (Registration and Practising Certificates) (Amendment No. 2) Regulations 2019 and come into operation on 1 November 2019.

Amendment of Part I of First Schedule

2. Part I of the First Schedule to the Allied Health Professions (Registration and Practising Certificates) Regulations 2013 (G.N. No. S 219/2013) (called in these Regulations the principal Regulations) is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 1 in Division 1, the following items:

“

2.	Singapore Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy)

3.	Singapore Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy) (Honours)

”; and

(b)

by deleting the word “territory” in the heading of the first column in Division 2 and substituting the word “region”.

Amendment of Part II of First Schedule

3. Part II of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 1 in Division 1, the following items:

“

2.	Singapore Institute of Technology — Trinity College Dublin

Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy)

3.	Singapore Institute of Technology — Trinity College Dublin

Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) (Honours)

”; and

(b)

by deleting the word “territory” in the heading of the first column in Division 2 and substituting the word “region”.

Amendment of Part III of First Schedule

4. Division 2 of Part III of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended by deleting the word “territory” in the heading of the first column and substituting the word “region”.

Amendment of Part IV of First Schedule

5. Part IV of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 2 in Division 1, the following items:

“

3.	Singapore Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science (Diagnostic Radiography)

4.	Singapore Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science (Diagnostic Radiography) (Honours)

”; and

(b)

by deleting the word “territory” in the heading of the first column in Division 2 and substituting the word “region”.

Amendment of Part V of First Schedule

6. Part V of the First Schedule to the principal Regulations is amended —

(a)

by inserting, immediately after item 1 in Division 1, the following items:

“

2.	Singapore Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science (Radiation Therapy)

3.	Singapore Institute of Technology

Bachelor of Science (Radiation Therapy) (Honours)

”; and

(b)

by deleting the word “territory” in the heading of the first column in Division 2 and substituting the word “region”.
