(Prescribed Amount for Special Account)
Notification 2016
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 18B(3)(b) of the Central Provident Fund Act, the Minister for Manpower makes the following Notification:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Notification is the Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Amount for Special Account) Notification 2016 and comes into operation on 1 January 2017.
Prescribed amount
2.  For the purposes of section 18B of the Act, the prescribed amount is $166,000.
Cancellation
3.  The Central Provident Fund (Prescribed Amount for Special Account) (No. 2) Notification 2015 (G.N. No. S 855/2015) is cancelled.
