(Exemption) (No. 45)
Notification 2018

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Common Gaming Houses Act, the Minister for Home Affairs makes the following Notification:

Citation

1. This Notification is the Common Gaming Houses (Exemption) (No. 45) Notification 2018.

Exemption

2.—(1) The Minister exempts Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. from the provisions of the Act in respect of —

(a)

the “Golden Draw and Super Hot Seat Draw (Within Golden Tiger Slots Tournament)” promotion to be held from 2 November 2018 to 18 November 2018 (both dates inclusive);

(b)

the “Super Hot Seat Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) Zone 2 at Marina Bay Sands between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. daily during the following periods:

(i)	8 November 2018 to 11 November 2018 (both dates inclusive);
(ii)	15 November 2018 to 18 November 2018 (both dates inclusive); and

(c)

the “Golden Draw” to be held as part of that promotion at the Main Casino Floor (Level B2M) Zone 2 at Marina Bay Sands —

(i)

at 8 p.m. daily during the following periods:

(A)	8 November 2018 to 11 November 2018 (both dates inclusive);
(B)	15 November 2018 to 17 November 2018 (both dates inclusive); and

(ii)

at 7 p.m. on 18 November 2018.

(2) The exemption is subject to compliance by Marina Bay Sands Pte. Ltd. with the conditions specified in the Schedule.
