(Water Supply)
(Amendment) Regulations 2021

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 72 of the Public Utilities Act, the Public Utilities Board, with the approval of the Minister for Sustainability and the Environment, makes the following Regulations:

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations are the Public Utilities (Water Supply) (Amendment) Regulations 2021 and come into operation on 1 November 2021.

Amendment of regulation 14

2. Regulation 14(1) of the Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulations (Rg 5) is amended by deleting the words “not less frequently than once every 12 months” and substituting the words “at least once every 12 months (or such longer period as the Board may allow in any particular case)”.

Amendment of regulation 24

3. Regulation 24(2) of the Public Utilities (Water Supply) Regulations is amended by inserting, immediately after the words “at least once every 12 months”, the words “(or such longer period as the Board may allow in any particular case)”.
