Protection from Online Falsehoods and
Manipulation (Internet Intermediaries and
Digital Advertising Intermediaries — Temporary
Exemptions) (Amendment) Order 2020
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 61 of the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation Act 2019, the Minister for Communications and Information makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.  This Order is the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation (Internet Intermediaries and Digital Advertising Intermediaries — Temporary Exemptions) (Amendment) Order 2020 and comes into operation on 31 January 2020.
Amendment of Schedule
2.  The Schedule to the Protection from Online Falsehoods and Manipulation (Internet Intermediaries and Digital Advertising Intermediaries — Temporary Exemptions) Order 2019 (G.N. No. S 664/2019) is amended —
(a)by deleting the words “Sections 21(2)(c), 22(2)(b) and 23(1)(a)” in the third column of items 1(a) and 4 and substituting in each case the words “Sections 21(2)(c) and 22(2)(b)”;
(b)by deleting the words “Sections 21(2), 22(2) and 23(1)(a)” in the third column of items 2(a) and 3 and substituting in each case the words “Sections 21(2) and 22(2)”; and
(c)by deleting the words “Twitter International Company” in the first column of item 3 and substituting the words “Twitter, Inc.”.
