Professional Engineers Board (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2005

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 36 of the Professional Engineers Act, the Professional Engineers Board, with the approval of the Minister for National Development, hereby makes the following Rules:

Citation and commencement

1. These Rules may be cited as the Professional Engineers Board (Amendment No. 2) Rules 2005 and shall come into operation on 1st December 2005.

Amendment of rule 9

2. Rule 9 of the Professional Engineers Board Rules (R 2) is amended by deleting paragraph (2) and substituting the following paragraph:

“(2) All cheques drawn on the bank account of the Board shall be signed by —

(a)	the President and the Registrar;
(b)	the President and any member of the Board approved through a resolution of the Board for this purpose; or
(c)	the Registrar and any member of the Board approved through a resolution of the Board for this purpose.”.
